Completed applications were due by Friday, August 6, at 11:59 PM Eastern Time. The application for the 2021 program is closed. We will share detailed information about the program in September to all confirmed participants. There will also be workshops that provide tips on the college admissions and financial aid application processes. Participants will learn firsthand about our campus community by working with and getting to know current students and staff. While we’re disappointed that we won’t be able to host WISE on campus, we are working hard to make sure everyone still has an incredible experience. It will begin Friday evening and end on Sunday afternoon. ![]() In light of the ongoing pandemic, WISE will be an online program running October 8–10. We strongly encourage students from underrepresented and/or underserved backgrounds to apply, including Black, Latinx, and Native students, as well as students from low socioeconomic means, rural or predominantly minority high schools, or who might be the first in their family to attend college. WISE (Weekend Immersion in Science and Engineering) is a two-day experience for rising seniors to learn what it’s like to be an MIT student. ![]()
